Hafiza Merkezi Berlin (HMB) invites you to the Local Struggles Transnational Strategies: Experiences from Hungary and Turkey live event series on the 8th and 13th of April.
The HMB Live event series aims to create a space for exchange to deepen the understanding of both contexts as well as to highlight the similar struggles of civil society actors in Hungary and Turkey.
HUMAN RIGHTS UNDER ATTACK – April 8, 2021
In this first event, Hafiza Merkezi Berlin wants to highlight the issues surrounding the recent pressure on human rights in both countries. A special focus on the underlying political changes leading to the recent situation, the undermining of legal mechanisms both at the national and international level and the recent attacks on NGOs through legal means will be investigated in a contextual approach.

DEFYING HATE WITH PRIDE – April 13, 2021
In this second event, Hafiza Merkezi Berlin wants to highlight issues surrounding the recent attack on the LGBTI+ community, the implication that these attacks have on the work of the LGBTI+ civil society actors and organizations, potential threats to the safety of the individuals advocating for LGBTI+ rights and ways in which LGBTI+ civil society actors are strategizing and building networks with international allies.

Hafiza Merkezi Berlin (HMB) sizi 8 Nisan ve 13 Nisan tarihlerinde düzenlediği Yerel Mücadeleler Ulusötesi Stratejiler: Macaristan ve Türkiye Deneyimleri canlı yayınlarına davet ediyor.
HMB Live serisinde iki ülke bağlamını daha detaylı konuşmak, Macaristan ve Türkiye sivil toplumunun benzer mücadele pratiklerini vurgulamak niyetindeyiz.
İNSAN HAKLARI KRİZİ – 8 Nisan, 2021
Bu ilk etkinlikle, iki ülkede insan haklarına yönelik son dönemde artan baskı ortamına odaklanacağız. Bu duruma yol açan siyasi değişimleri, yerel ve uluslararası düzeyde hukukun üstünlüğüne yönelik saldırıları ve sivil toplum örgütlerini hedef alan yasa değişikliği ve diğer baskı araç ve yöntemlerini konuşacağız.
Márta Pardavi (Macaristan Helsinki Komitesi) ve Ceren Uysal (Çağdaş Hukukçular Derneği) ile gerçekleştireceğimiz etkinliğe bekliyoruz.

NEFRETE ONURLA BAŞKALDIRMAK – 13 Nisan, 2021
Bu ikinci etkinlikle, iki ülkede son dönemde LGBTI+’lara yönelik politikaları, bunun LGBTI+ haklarını savunan kişi ve kurumların çalışmalarına etkisini, onların karşılaştıkları baskıları ve buna yönelik politik stratejileri ve uluslararası alanda kurulan dayanışma ağlarının etkisini konuşacağız.
